Job summary

First Bus in the UK is seeking qualified and trainee school bus drivers to operate our school routes in Penzance. The role offers a 30-hour week across Monday to Friday for 41 weeks per year, with overtime opportunities and immediate start.

Qualified drivers earn £13 per hour and £14 overtime; trainee drivers start at £12 and £12.50 overtime during the first year. A full UK licence with up to 6 points, 2 years' driving experience, and an enhanced DBS disclosure are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• DBS enhanced disclosure required.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Minimum age 18.

Responsibilities

• Transport school children to and from their schools on a 30-hour weekly rota.
• Provide a first-class service and ensure reliability and punctuality.
• Work on a school rota and follow the depot's staff manager.
