Job summary

Bromley Y is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Mental Health Support Team in Bromley. The role delivers evidence-based interventions for children and young people and involves liaising with schools and partners to plan bespoke Whole School Approaches to mental health.

You will manage a caseload and collaborate across agencies. We base in central Bromley with one day a week in the office, supporting flexible and wellbeing‑minded working patterns within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Two years+ experience with children and families, including emotional and mental health needs.
• Competence in assessing emotional and mental health needs of children and young people.
• Experience working with multi‑agency partners and planning outcomes with schools.
• Professional registration eligibility and ongoing CPD in MH services for children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mild-to-moderate difficulties with a caseload of children and families.
• Ensure GDPR-compliant information sharing and safeguarding practices.
• Provide guidance to schools to improve skills and reflective practice.
• Undertake assessments with young people and parents to identify areas for change or recovery.
• Collaborate with Bromley Y teams to maintain THRIVE-aligned services for children and families.
