Job summary

The Whittington Health NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our mainstream schools service in Islington. You will assess and treat children with speech, language and communication needs, and work within a multidisciplinary team to support schools and families.

You will manage a caseload across up to five mainstream schools, with ongoing clinical supervision and development opportunities to enhance your skills in a vibrant, urban setting.

Qualifications

• Assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children and young people in mainstream schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive SLT service to mainstream schools in Islington.
• Manage an autonomous caseload across up to 5 mainstream schools.
• Provide support to schools and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
