Job summary

Senovo Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a School-Based Play Therapist for a specialist SEN education setting in Waltham Forest. This part-time role provides meaningful support to pupils to access learning and make progress.

You'll deliver individual and small-group programmes, collaborate with education staff and families, and maintain accurate records. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and have safeguarding DBS checks; QTS not required.

Qualifications

• A relevant recognised professional qualification for the role.
• Appropriate professional registration or membership where required.
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• Strong communication, record-keeping and safeguarding practice.
• Useful experience includes multidisciplinary working, Play therapy, safeguarding, SEN schools, therapeutic assessment.
• QTS is not required for this therapy role.

Contract: Part time

Pay: £30–£42 per hour PAYE

The opportunity
