Job summary

Recruit by Nature invites applications for a School-Based Occupational Therapist in Crondall, Hampshire (GU10). You will assess and support neurodiverse children aged 2–25 across schools, homes and community settings, delivering specialist paediatric therapy within SEN and SEND frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Permanent right to work in the UK is required.
  • BSc Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.
  • 2–4 years paediatric occupational therapy experience.
  • Paediatrics, neurodiversity, autism, SEN and EHCP-related practice.
  • Ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate occupational therapy interventions independently.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

School-Based Occupational Therapist – Crondall, Hampshire (GU10)

Join a specialist paediatric occupational therapy service supporting neurodiverse children and young people across educational and community settings. Salary

£40,000 - £52,000 per annum, dependent on experience + benefits.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time

Job Description

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and occupational therapy intervention support to neurodiverse children and young people aged 2-25 across schools, homes, community settings and clinic environments throughout Crondall (GU10) and surrounding areas: Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton. Working within both private healthcare and private education settings, you will support children with autism, sensory processing differences, SEND needs, learning disabilities and other developmental needs through assessment, intervention and ongoing therapeutic support.

As part of an established allied health team, you will carry out occupational therapy assessments, develop treatment plans, deliver therapy programmes, contribute to EHCP processes and provide detailed reports. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop specialist paediatric skills within a respected service that values learning, collaboration and clinical excellence.

Requirements
  • Sponsorship / right to work: Permanent right to work in the UK is required. Sponsorship is not available.
  • Qualification: BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification with HCPC registration.
  • Experience level: Minimum 2-4 years of paediatric occupational therapy experience.
  • Specialism: Paediatrics, neurodiversity, autism, sensory processing, SEN, SEND and EHCP-related practice.
  • Capability: Ability to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate occupational therapy interventions independently.
  • Soft skill: Excellent communication, relationship-building and report-writing skills.
  • Independence: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
