Job summary

Ideal candidates will have completed the EMHP or CYWP courses, or be near completion, and will hold HCPC registration. You will deliver THRIVE-based interventions, collaborate with school staff and families, and support wide youth mental health

Qualifications

• Completion of the HEE commissioned 1yr EMHP course or CYPMH Wellbeing Practitioner course.
• Teaching qualification and HCPC registration are required.
• Youth MH First Aid training is essential.
• Must hold professional registration with an accrediting body (HCPC) or PSA approved register.
• Ability to learn in diverse settings and use various learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Promote early detection and prevention of mental health issues across schools.
• Provide direct, ongoing support to schools on mental health and wellbeing.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health needs.
• Support school staff to develop a whole-school approach to wellbeing.
• Liaise with other mental health services to ensure appropriate care.
