Job summary

Prospero Teaching seeks a proactive school administrator to provide day-to-day support across the school in Merseyside. You will help with reception, emails and calls, keep accurate records and assist teachers with resources and classroom prep.

Working with pupils and staff, you will contribute to a positive learning environment, with opportunities for long-term roles and ongoing CPD through Prospero Learning.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school, education or admin setting is desirable.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Confident with IT and school databases.
• Professional, approachable and reliable.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support.
• Assist reception, emails, calls and general enquiries.

The Role

• Providing day-to-day administrative and clerical support across the school
• Assisting with reception, emails, telephone calls and general school enquiries
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting school systems
• Supporting teachers with classroom preparation and resources
• Working alongside pupils and providing learning and pastoral support
• Supporting children with additional needs where required
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with teaching staff and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within a school, education or administrative environment is desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident using IT and school administration systems
• Professional, approachable and reliable
• Comfortable working with children and young people
• Patient, proactive and adaptable
• Experience supporting SEND pupils is advantageous
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
