Rotherwood Education are currently seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in the Blackburn area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of a supportive school office team, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations.

About the Role

As a School Administrator, you\'ll work closely with the School Business Manager and wider office team, providing vital administrative support to staff, pupils, and visitors. Your role will be varied and rewarding, and your attention to detail will help ensure the school runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing pupil records and attendance using SIMS (School Information Management System)
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
  • Greeting and assisting parents, carers, and visitors to the school, ensuring a warm welcome at all times
  • Assisting with school admissions, letters, newsletters, and other communications
  • Supporting with HR and finance tasks under the guidance of the School Business Manager
  • Maintaining confidentiality and upholding safeguarding procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have previous experience working in a school office environment
  • Be confident using SIMS
  • Be highly organised with strong communication skills
  • Have a professional and friendly manner
  • Be capable of working both independently and as part of a team
