School Administrative Officer - Wandsworth Hospital Schools and Home Tuition Service CAMHS Campus School
About Us

Full time or part time considered

39 weeks per year (38 weeks per year plus 5 INSET days)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of the unique, warm and welcoming Wandsworth Hospital Schools and Home Tuition Service (WHHTS). WHHTS comprises of St George’s Hospital School and CAMHS Campus School at Springfield University Hospital, Tooting. The Service also supports children with medical needs and mental health issues in their homes, schools and local community. Ofsted rated the HHTS as Outstanding in 2023 and it is committed to delivering high quality education for children and young people who have medical needs or mental health issues that result in inpatient admissions or recurring absences from school.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to support the School Business Manager within our successful service .

Candidates will need to be positive, highly confidential with all matters, have a professional attitude, be well organised, highly flexible and have excellent inter-personal skills. They should create a professional and welcoming office environment; have a calm and tactful attitude with excellent communication skills; have strong IT skills including MS Office applications; and have excellent and efficient organisational skills.

The successful post holder will assist with the day-to-day operations of the school office. If you are excited by the opportunity to be part of this unique school and have the commitment and initiative to contribute to a successful office environment, then we would love to hear from you.

Experience of a similar role within a school will be a significant advantage and we ask you to address the job description and person specification carefully in your application.

In addition, you will have:

  • General clerical, administrative and financial work as appropriate
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of providing effective financial and HR support.
  • Experience of using and developing financial systems and procedures.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
