Jeannine Manuel School is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant for an immediate start.

The Administrative Assistant supports administrative and organizational processes within the school. They act as an initial point of contact for parents, visitors, and other stakeholders, embodying the school's values, vision, and ethos in all interactions.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, approachable, and possess strong administrative and IT skills. Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.

General duties include:
  1. Assisting the School’s Management team with daily operations;
  2. Monitoring and ensuring the safety of pupils through accurate record-keeping;
  3. Providing information and support to staff and pupils;
  4. Responding professionally to emails, upholding the school's values;
  5. Maintaining records according to data protection laws and confidentiality;
  6. Collaborating with colleagues to respond to complex inquiries;
  7. Responding promptly to messages and passing information to relevant staff;
  8. Updating manual and electronic records;
  9. Managing the school's email inboxes and forwarding emails appropriately;
  10. Organizing and distributing mail;
  11. Providing administrative support as needed;
  12. Covering reception duties, including handling calls and face-to-face inquiries;
  13. Managing stock and supplies;
  14. Performing filing, printing, and photocopying tasks;
  15. Assisting with organizing meetings, events, and providing refreshments.
Desirable skills & experience:
  1. Experience working in a school setting;
  2. Excellent computer skills, including Excel and data management tools;
  3. Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

This is not a term-time position.
