Job Title: Full-Time School Admin Assistant
Location: Primary School, Burnley
Start Date: After October Half-Term
Hours: Full-Time (Term Time Only)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Admin Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at a primary school in Burnley. This is a full-time, school-based role starting after the October half-term and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative support to the school office
  • Manage pupil records and attendance systems
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally
  • Support with school communications, letters, and newsletters
  • Assist with reception duties and visitor management
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with safeguarding procedures

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous school-based administrative experience is essential
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SIMS (or similar school systems)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a commitment to supporting children’s education
