Salary: From £17,000 per annum

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Simply Education is seeking a dedicated School Admin Assistant to join a supportive SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in the Boston area. This role is perfect for someone passionate about education and supporting the smooth running of a school that makes a difference in students’ lives.

About the Role:

As a School Admin Assistant, you will be at the heart of the school’s operations, providing essential administrative support to ensure the school runs efficiently. This position is on a temporary to permanent basis, offering a fantastic opportunity for growth and development within a nurturing and impactful setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the school’s front office, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
  2. Maintain accurate student records and update the school’s database.
  3. Assist with the preparation of school documents and reports.
  4. Support the coordination of school events and activities.
  5. Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  6. Provide administrative support to the school’s leadership team and teaching staff.
  7. Ensure confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  2. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  5. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  7. A commitment to supporting the unique needs of SEMH students.
