This is a great job opportunity to join our leasehold retirement team as a part-time Scheme Manager. If you want to make a difference supporting people to live independently and enjoy their well-earned retirement, then join us. You'll ensure the smooth running of our retirement community by managing our buildings and supporting our customers to live independently in their own homes.

Typical day as a Scheme Manager
  • Managing the scheme on behalf of our residents, ensuring buildings are safe, secure, and meet safety standards.
  • Providing visibility on the scheme, engaging with customers, responding to calls, and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, and facilitating social activities.
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance with contractors and sourcing local suppliers.
  • Signposting customers to relevant services to support their welfare.
  • Supporting the sales team during property turnover, including interviewing and welcoming new customers.

You bring
  • A passion for excellent customer service and building relationships with diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of health and social issues affecting older people.
  • Experience in safeguarding and risk assessments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with partners.
  • Strong administrative skills for managing accounts, budgets, and invoicing.
  • A self-starter attitude, organized, with initiative and decision-making skills.
