Description

The Village of Glendale Crossing, located in London, Ontario, has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Part-Time Scheduling Coordinator to join their team.

Shift Details: 52.5 hours bi-weekly

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with village leaders to ensure all shifts are filled daily
• Manage shift requests according to collective agreements
• Plan vacation coverage with village leaders
• Prioritize staffing needs based on vacancy reports
• Serve as the main contact for shift fulfillment with charge nurses and leaders
• Coordinate with employment agencies for unfilled shifts
• Provide excellent customer service to team members regarding schedules, call-ins, and shifts
• Assist with administrative tasks and office coverage
• Handle incoming queries from residents, families, and team members professionally
• Support a resident-centered social culture by delivering high-quality service

Qualifications

• Office administration certification or equivalent experience
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities efficiently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other software
• Caring and respectful attitude towards residents, families, and staff

Assets

• Experience in long-term care or retirement home settings
