Scheduling Assistant

Hours: 39 hours per week

Salary: £12.21 per hour

The Role

We deliver creative, dynamic, and person-centred services, providing support to individuals in supported living and shared accommodations with their own tenancies. Based in our Long Eaton Office, you will support services in Ilkeston, Swadlincote, and Long Eaton. Reporting to the Registered Locality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Producing and maintaining accurate staff and support schedules, considering commissioned care and support hours.
  2. Preparing weekly rotas, ensuring efficient resource allocation aligned with assessed needs and commissioned hours.
  3. Monitoring employee leave, including sickness, annual, and parental leave, to ensure support hours are maintained with minimal disruption.
  4. Communicating rotas to staff and individuals supported in advance, with any changes communicated promptly.
  5. Maintaining and updating personal and staff details in our database.
  6. Coordinating employee training and supporting recruitment efforts.
  7. Liaising with HR for onboarding, contract changes, and leavers.
  8. Ensuring accurate completion of timesheets and recording of leave and extra hours.
  9. Organizing team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals as per policy.
  10. Arranging flexible cover for holidays, sickness, and emergencies.

Previous experience with rota management and IT systems is desirable, but full training will be provided. An enhanced DBS check is required.
