A leading energy company is seeking a Scheduling and Planning Manager to ensure project delivery aligns with strategic objectives. Purpose of the Role

The Scheduling and Planning Manager is a key contributor to Switch2 Energy's operational success, responsible not only for ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget but also for shaping and steering the company's long term delivery strategy. Leading the Field Administration Team, this individual drivers forward thinking workforce planning and optimises resource deployment to support Client SLA adherence and evolving customer demands. Through strategic foresight and meticulous execution the role enhances cross functional collaboration, operational resilience and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Workforce Planning - Develop and implement a comprehensive annual strategic plan that anticipates engineering demand, aligns workforce and resources accordingly, and supports long-term business growth.
  • Scheduling & Delivery Oversight - Maintain and refine delivery schedules to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and customer expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Resource Alignment - Partner with engineering, procurement, and field operations to forecast and secure required tools, equipment, and parts.
  • Risk Management & Forecasting - Proactively identify operational risks and trends; implement data-driven mitigation strategies to safeguard delivery outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting - Act as a strategic liaison, ensuring consistent, transparent, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Development - Inspire, mentor, and empower the Field Administration Team to embrace innovation and performance excellence.
  • Performance Monitoring - Develop and interpret KPIs that support strategic decision-making and drive service-level improvements.
  • Quality & Compliance Assurance - Uphold and evolve operational practices in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance.
  • Process Optimisation - Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable process improvements across
