At Care New England, we�re seeking a dependable and efficient Scheduler to join our Home Health & Hospice team�ensuring smooth and timely scheduling of patient care that makes a real difference in people�s lives.

What You�ll Do:

As a Scheduler, you�ll play a vital role in supporting patients and clinical staff by managing and coordinating visit schedules for our Hospice, Home Care, and Rehab teams. You�ll work closely with Clinical Managers and field staff to ensure all care is timely, accurate, and in compliance with agency policies and state regulations.

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

� Creating and maintaining staff and patient schedules across service lines
� Assigning visits such as admissions, discharges, and revisits to appropriate clinicians
� Verifying schedules and coordinating with Clinical Managers and field staff
� Triaging incoming communication (calls, messages, faxes) related to scheduling
� Handling sensitive hospice assignments including timely coordination for end-of-life care
� Communicating scheduling issues, changes, and conflicts promptly to staff and managers
� Preparing daily and weekly scheduling reports and capacity planning documents
� Ensuring all documentation and follow-ups are completed accurately and on time
� Inputting calendars for new and current staff annually
� Processing medical supply orders for Hospice on weekends and holidays as directed
� Running EC reports and managing weekend on-call scheduling tasks
� Supporting special projects and department tasks as assigned

What You�ll Need:

� High school diploma or equivalent (required)
� Associate�s degree in Secretarial Science or completion of a secretarial school program (preferred)
� Minimum 2 years of secretarial experience, preferably in a medical setting
� Strong proficiency in office and clerical procedures, including:
� Typing
� Filing
� Telephone and communication skills
� Photocopying and fax operations
� Experience with a variety of software systems, PCs, and database tools
� Strong attention to detail, time management, and multitasking skills
