Overview

Scheduler (Weekends) – £12.86 per hour. Part time hours – Weekends only. 16-24 hours per weekend. Crewe.

Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Scheduler, to work on-site for a Private Care Provider with an office based in Crewe.

About the role

You will be using scheduling software, the scheduler will be managing the day to day balancing and allocation of jobs as required. Assigning critical jobs quickly to achieve strict service level agreements and following them through to completion. Responsible for ensuring all mandatory work for the following day is imported and distributed nationally into a schedule, that technicians can deliver efficiently using scheduling software and ensuring KPI targets are achieved.

Responsibilities
  • Assign critical jobs to field technicians efficiently using scheduling software and following them through to completion in line with SLA.
  • Manager technician availability through regular communication with Regional Team Managers.
  • Ensure all mandatory jobs are assigned and allocated to technicians on that day through periodic checks.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure that our scheduling software matches our front-end system.
  • Monitor a dedicated inbox to action operational requests.
  • Support an inbound technician helpline, resolving queries as required.
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision making in a fast-paced environment across a wide range of subjects.
  • Be resilient to changes in process as required to improve accuracy and efficiency in business practices.
  • Ensure all mandatory and KPI work is imported and distributed efficiently into a schedule nationally using scheduling software and periodic checks.
Experience and skills required
  • Planning experience, preferred.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive approach to achieve the department's objectives; assertiveness where necessary.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
