Job description

The Scheduler will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that project timelines and deadlines are met while maintaining a balanced workload for the engineering team.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules for engineering projects, considering factors such as project complexity, resource availability, and project priorities.

Collaborate with engineering team members to assess their availability, skills, and workload to effectively assign tasks and allocate resources.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of schedules, resource assignments, and any changes or modifications.

Continuously optimise scheduling processes and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration within the engineering team.

Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to align their schedules with project requirements and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.

Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to align project schedules with overall organisational objectives and timelines.

Providing first class customer services for customer enquiries. This will include dealing with any enquiries order taking, processing and dealing with problems and solving any issues.




The ideal candidate will have the following:

Proven experience as a scheduler, planner, or project coordinator, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource constraints.

Proficiency in diary management software and scheduling tools

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate scheduling information clearly and concisely.

Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining schedules and documentation.




The hours for this role are 8:30am to 5pm
