Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Scheduler to join our team in Bexhill, United Kingdom. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning, organising, and maintaining consistent schedules that align with our organisation's operational needs and client requirements.

  1. Develop and maintain effective schedules, considering various factors such as staff availability, client needs, and operational efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with different departments to ensure optimal resource allocation and service delivery.
  3. Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate last-minute changes or unforeseen circumstances.
  4. Liaise with clients and team members to coordinate appointments, meetings, and service deliveries.
  5. Utilise scheduling software and IT systems to manage and track appointments efficiently.
  6. Analyse scheduling data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all scheduling activities.
  8. Prepare and distribute regular reports on scheduling metrics and performance indicators.
  9. Respond promptly to queries and concerns from staff and clients regarding schedules.
  10. Contribute to the development and implementation of scheduling strategies to improve overall organisational effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a scheduling role, preferably in home care, healthcare, or logistics sectors.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a logical approach to work.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in managing changing priorities and workloads.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude when faced with challenges.
  • Relevant education or certifications in operations management, logistics, or a related field (desirable but not essential).
