Job summary

Arriva is seeking a Schedule Compiler to join the Commercial team in London. You will develop expertise in transport planning, compiling bus schedules, timetables and staff rotas while using scheduling systems to create efficient plans.

The role opens with training and support, progressing to responsible planning tasks. Based at our Finsbury Park head office, there is occasional travel across London and some after-hours work as required.

Responsibilities

• Compile bus schedules, duty schedules, timetables and staff rotas.
• Use scheduling systems and data to create efficient operational plans.
• Analyze performance and resource data to improve schedule efficiency.
• Estimate resource requirements in response to Arriva and TfL initiatives.
• Work with Commercial and Operations teams to maintain accurate planning information.
• Occasionally investigate routes across London to understand operational requirements.

Enjoy solving problems, spotting patterns and working out how things fit together?We’re looking for a Schedule Compiler to join our Commercial team and help plan the schedules that keep London’s bus network moving.You don’t need to already be an experienced Schedule Compiler. We’re looking for someone with strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills who is keen to develop specialist expertise in transport planning and scheduling.You may currently work in data, administration, logistics, operations, resource planning, scheduling or transport and be looking for your next career move.
