About the School

Theatre and Performance has a reputation for excellence in teaching and research, with strengths in European theatre history, Musical theatre, World theatre, sociology of the theatre, postcolonial theatre, intercultural theatre, dramatic literature, and practice as research.

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for providing support to all areas of technical provision across the Department’s technical team (lighting, audio-visual, scenographic). The role also involves providing support for the Production Stage Manager with the running and front-of-house duties for events and student productions.

About the Candidate

You will be a skilled, versatile, and experienced individual with previous work experience within the theatre/arts context in an HE environment. You will be a strong team player, able to prioritise tasks and work independently. You will also have excellent time-management techniques and be able to work with and co-ordinate a team with relation to the complex academic cycle of activities.
