Qualifications
- Must have Level2 or Level3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (HGV or Light Vehicle).
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic capability.
- Understanding of DVSA inspection standards, brake testing and roadworthiness compliance.
- Experience using digital maintenance systems.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high quality workmanship.
- Disciplined approach to documentation, safety and workshop standards.
Responsibilities
- Full vehicle and trailer safety inspections, servicing and repairs to DVSA standards.
- Advanced diagnostics using Scania systems, OEM tooling and electronic test equipment.
- Maintenance of ancillaries and specialist body applications (hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems).
- Ensuring accurate, audit ready maintenance records in line with DVSA and company requirements.
