A leading UK food manufacturing company in Willand is seeking a Scan to Stock Operative to join their team. This role involves scanning and moving stock, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a safe work area. No prior experience is required as training will be provided. The ideal candidate should have attention to detail and be comfortable working under pressure. The company offers immediate starts, employee discounts, and various in-house training opportunities.
The hours of work and shift patterns are: 5:30-14:30, Monday to Friday (13:30 finish on a Tuesday)
The rates of pay are:£12.75 per hour
Main Responsibilities
As a Scan to Stock Operative you will be working in a warehouse environment and part of a team that ensures our orders arrive on time. You will be scanning and moving stock to the appropriate areas for despatch, printing identification labels and ensuring the product is protected for transportation.
Part of the role will also include stock checks and general day-to-day housekeeping of your work area.
No experience is necessary in this role as we will give you all the training that you need to be successful.
The Ideal Candidate
Our ideal Scan to Stock Operative will have excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working under pressure. You will be computer literate and able to pick up systems and processes easily.
Experience working within a warehouse or in a sorting/picking and packing role would be an advantage. However, experience is not essential as we will provide full training on site.

The Willand factory has been part of Devon's food manufacturing heritage since 1898 where it started life as an egg processing facility. Steeped in history this site is located on Lloyd Maunder road, which is easily accessed by the M5 or local bus routes. Willand has been part of 2 Sisters since 2008 and has gone from processing 20/30 birds per day (1933) to one million birds per week (2020).
