Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic andcaring Kaiako to join our kura from the start of Term 3, 2025 (or by negotiation).

We have a position available, teaching in a Y1–2 class. We're seeking someone with a strong understanding of literacy and numeracy, and a commitment to structured literacy and DIMC practices. (As an IDEAL and DIMC kura, we will fully support you in these areas.)

Our ideal Kaiako will build warm, trusting relationships with tamariki and whānau, and bring a positive, energetic, and collaborative approach to teaching. Applicants also need to be willing to embrace our PB4L whole-school approach in supporting learning and positive behaviour.

You will be working alongside a fantastic team of teachers.Our staff are friendly, supportive, and have a great sense of fun. We look after each other and are driven by our values of Reflective, Curious, Team player, Motivated, and Respect. You will be able to work collaboratively, be flexible, organised, and open-minded.

We are seeking Kaiako with experience in New Zealand primary school classrooms. Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with theNZ Curriculum, and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
