Job summary

True North Consulting Group Ltd is seeking a lead Scala developer for a 3-month contract in Newcastle to design and implement full‑stack solutions using Scala.

You will lead a team, review code, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate with DevOps and QA to deliver robust, scalable software on a Play Framework platform.

Experience in MacOS/Linux and strong communication are essential; inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of developers.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for stakeholders and non-technical team members.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
