Job summary

Next Generation Scaffolding Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Yard Manager to lead the busy scaffolding yard, ensuring safe, efficient operation and high standards of NASC compliance.

You will manage yard operatives, supervise stock, plan daily workloads, and deliver safety briefings. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising a scaffolding yard.
• Strong knowledge of NASC standards and guidance.
• Forklift qualification and safe loading experience.

Responsibilities

• Yard management and operations to ensure safe, efficient running.
• Plan daily workloads, allocate tasks and monitor productivity.
• Lead yard operatives and supervisors; conduct toolbox talks.
• Enforce safety procedures; ensure equipment is operated by trained personnel.
• Oversee storage, stock levels and material handling.
• Coordinate with transport and ensure on-time site deliveries.
