Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Director to establish and lead a dedicated scaffolding division from our Sittingbourne base. The role emphasizes strategic development, commercial growth, and high standards of safety and delivery.

You will be responsible for setting direction, securing contracts, and overseeing multiple projects with autonomy and senior leadership support to drive long-term growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of establishing and developing a scaffolding division or business.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of the commercial and operational requirements of running a scaffolding operation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop a scaffolding division.
• Develop and implement a business strategy to grow the scaffolding operation.
• Identify and secure new scaffolding contracts and opportunities.
• Build relationships with developers and main contractors.
• Manage commercial and operational performance of the division.
• Oversee estimating, pricing and tendering of scaffolding packages.
• Recruit, manage and develop scaffolding teams and supervision staff.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment across multiple projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.
