Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment Limited is seeking a Scaffolding Director for a senior leadership role based in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will establish and run a dedicated scaffolding division within an established construction business, delivering safe, cost-effective projects and driving growth.

You’ll set strategy, win contracts, manage budgets, lead teams and ensure NASC compliance, with autonomy to shape the division and influence long-term business growth.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and growing a scaffolding division or business.
• Strong knowledge of NASC guidance and TG20.
• Experience securing contracts with developers and main contractors.
• Proven senior management or director-level leadership.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and develop the scaffolding division to deliver projects.
• Lead business strategy and growth of the operation.
• Manage commercial performance, budgets and profitability.
• Oversee estimating, pricing and tendering for packages.
• Recruit and develop scaffolding teams and supervision.
• Coordinate labour, materials and resources across projects.
• Ensure safety compliance and NASC/TG20 standards.
• Report on project performance and risks.
