Job summary

TSR Recruitment Ltd in Nottingham is recruiting scaffolders for a role with a well-established scaffolding contractor. The position covers sites across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, starting with 3 weeks and potentially extending, with 8 hours paid per day at £26 per hour CIS.

You will assemble frames, tubes, boards, guardrails and nets, read design plans, comply with SG4 safety rules, and work to Local Authority requirements.

Qualifications

• CSCSCISRS registration (Part 1 & 2) required.
• Able to read technical plans and scaffolding diagrams.
• Time served scaffolder with industrial scaffolding experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrails, toe boards and safety nets per design plans.
• Follow statutory regulations and SG4 safety requirements during erection and dismantling.
• Handle, stack and inspect scaffold tubes, boards and fittings.
• Erect scaffolds in public areas in line with Local Authority requirements.
• Select and install ties for sheeted and un-sheeted scaffolds.

Job description

Scaffolders Nottingham£25 - £27 Per Hour Scaffolders required for a well-established scaffolding contractor based in Nottingham for 3 weeks to ongoing. Sites across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, working for tier 1 and tier 2 contractors as well as housing developers and specialised subcontractors. PartWorking hours are part 2 Scaffolders for a week and possibly the following week. 8 hours paid CIS, 7am - 4pm with a 30-minute lunch.

The Role

Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, boards, guardrail, toe boards, and safety nets following design plans and safety standardsStatutory regulations and safety requirements (including SG4) relating to the erection and dismantling of simple scaffoldsThe correct handling, stacking and inspection of scaffold tubes, boards and fittingsErection of scaffolds in public areas in accordance with Local Authority requirementsSelection and installation of ties for both sheeted and un-sheeted scaffolds
