Matchtech Group seeks experienced scaffolders for contract work in the Barrow-in-Furness area. The role focuses on erecting and dismantling scaffolding for defence projects, while ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and site procedures.

You will collaborate with construction and defence teams, perform safety checks, and maintain detailed records of work performed. A relevant scaffolding certificate and solid experience are essential for this contract.

Our client, a leading organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is seeking experienced Scaffolders to join their team on a contract basis. The position is local to the area and involves supporting key defence projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with industry standards
• Ensuring all scaffolding activities comply with health and safety regulations
• Collaborating with other construction and defence personnel to facilitate project progress
• Conducting safety checks and inspections of scaffolding structures
• Providing maintenance and repairs to existing scaffolding setups as needed
• Keeping accurate records of scaffolding work completed
