SCADA Tester - 6 Month Contract - Hybrid - Inside IR35

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Tester to join a leading utilities company on a 6-month contract, with a strong potential for extension beyond 12 months. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with 3 days per week onsite at an office in Warwick (does have potential to move to full time on site).

As a SCADA Tester, you will be a key player in ensuring the reliability and functionality of SCADA systems, focusing on OSII Monarch. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, test, and resolve issues, contributing to the success of critical projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct testing to validate the successful transition between Legacy systems and the SCADA environment.
2. Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate system performance.
3. Identify, log, and manage risks and issues arising during the testing life cycle in your area of responsibility.
4. Liaise with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project leads, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
5. Lead defect triage for your ART Team ensuring the right stakeholders are engaged.

What you Will Ideally Bring:

1. Previous project experience with Power utility Transmission networks, functional testing, communication testing, and performance testing.
2. Exposure to OSI Monarch Testing Utilities, previous experience of SCADA and Real-Time Control and NMS (Network Monitoring Systems).
3. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power systems and control systems engineering (e.g., IEC101, IEC104, GI74, IEC 61850, IEEE standards).
4. Monitor and report on the progress of test preparation and execution of JIRA/XRAY Tests.

Contract Details:

1. Duration: 6 months (Strong View for Extension)
2. Location: Warwick 3x Per Week (Scope to move to 5x on-site)
3. Day Rate: Up to £475 Per Day (Inside IR35)
4. Start Date: ASAP
