Job description

MCS Group is recruiting a SCADA Developer/Project Manager for our client based in Belfast on a temporary contract basis.

We are seeking a SCADA Developer/ Project Manager to support the operation and development of SCADA systems throughout our client's site. The role involves maintaining system integrity, optimising efficiency, and managing SCADA projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide SCADA services and support to the business.
• Maintain the operation and security of SCADA systems.
• Develop SCADA to improve efficiency and data utilisation.
• Manage SCADA projects and contracts.
• Train colleagues on SCADA usage.
• Implement secure remote access to SCADA systems.
• Collaborate with third parties on SCADA related matters.
• Plan SCADA resource requirements and project activities.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3^rd level qualification in electrical, electronics, IT engineering and 2 years relevant experience managing, configuring, maintaining and supporting SCADA/ Industrial Control systems OR Candidates with lesser qualifications will be considered if they have 5 years of relevant experience managing, configuring, maintaining and supporting SCADA/Industrial Control systems
• Experience gained in a supervisory role managing suppliers, projects and relationships
• A strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC's, Industrial Control and MS Office.
• Full drivers license and access to a vehicle to fulfil the requirements of the role.
