Overview

Receptionist/Clerical Officer, 37 hours per week, Permanent

Department: Patient Services

A vacancy has arisen within the AHP Administration Team for a full time Receptionist/Clerical Officer, who will be predominantly based at Aberdeen Health Village (office based position).

The AHP Administration Team is a large, city wide team, providing clerical and administrative support to the Allied Health Professions, including: Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech & Language Therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Receptionist/Clerical Officer within the busy outpatient environment, providing clerical and administrative support to the Allied Health Professions.
  • Greet and assist the general public, handling enquires with clear and courteous communication.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment, prioritise workload and manage time pressures effectively.
  • Demonstrate good keyboard skills and confidence in the use of IT systems.
  • Experience of the Patient Management System (PMS) is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, self-motivated approach.
  • Good keyboard skills and confidence in IT systems.
  • Ability to cope with change and prioritise workload in a busy setting.
