Job Opportunity: Security Auditor

Location: Wokingham, Hybrid (60% remote, 40% onsite)

Job Type: Contract (until 31/12/2025)

Industry: Cyber Security

Rate: Up to £717 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35)

Clearance: Active Security Clearance required

Key Responsibilities

1. Security Integration: Drive the delivery of security requirements into projects, becoming an integral part of the project team.
2. Regulatory Compliance: Lead security and regulatory compliance efforts, identify non-compliances, and manage remediation.
3. Security Testing: Support security testing, including Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and Penetration Testing.
4. Transition to BAU: Assist in transitioning security services into Business As Usual (BAU) operations, ensuring ongoing compliance.

• Vendor Best Practices
• ISA/IEC 62443 Standards
• NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and Guidelines

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

• Industry Expertise: Familiarity with the UK energy sector and its security challenges.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile delivery in security projects.
• Containerised Services: Knowledge of securing containerised services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar cyber security role.
• Strong understanding of security policies, controls, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
