Job summary

Synergize Consulting Ltd. is seeking a SC-cleared webMethods SME for an initial 3-6 month contract, with heavy remote work and monthly client-site travel to London or the South/South East.

You will lead development and support of an Azure-hosted integration platform, coordinating with agile teams and stakeholders. The role requires hands-on experience with webMethods products (Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Designer, Swagger/OpenAPI) and collaboration tools like

Qualifications

• Experience with webMethods products (Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Designer, OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Experience with Azure cloud hosting and cloud-native delivery.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence for Agile delivery and collaboration.
• Must hold current active SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Development of REST and SOAP services using Designer.
• Development of Universal Messaging packages using Designer.
• Configure and maintain an API Gateway using delivered services.
• Advise on integration patterns to support best practices.
• Identify and resolve bugs in existing integration services.
• Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with platform security posture.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, and DevSecOps to deliver accessible, performant integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications.
• Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and maintain Confluence documentation.
