Job summary

VodafoneThree in the UK invites applications for a Senior Network Engineer in our Technology Operations Networks Operations Centre. The role covers SDH/PDH, Ethernet and optical networks; you will work as a shift engineer, monitoring networks, diagnosing faults and resolving issues, including on-call duties.

We offer hybrid working with office and home, 2-3 days in the office per week, and a route to SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in telecommunications and network operations
• Experience across SDH/PDH, Ethernet and optical technologies
• Familiarity with major vendors and network management reporting

Responsibilities

• Professionally represent Real Time Operations in day-to-day operations
• Proactively monitor customer networks to identify faults
• Acknowledge and respond to fault reports with timely diagnostics
• Perform initial diagnostics and fault clearance wherever possible
• Ensure accurate ticket details and updates for fault reports
• Escalate to technical/managerial levels within SLA timeframes
• Test and liaise with customers and third parties
• Provide input to customer and management reports
