Job summary

TrinIT Talent Ltd is seeking a SC Cleared Commercial Category Manager in London to join a technology procurement team for a six-month contract. You will handle end-to-end procurements including IT infrastructure, software, SaaS, cloud and cyber, writing plans, and running tenders with clear award criteria.

You will publish notices, manage clarifications and evaluations, and hand contracts to the owner, working closely with Finance, Legal, Cyber and ESG colleagues.

Qualifications

• SC clearance is required and actively supported.
• Experience managing procurement end-to-end across multiple procurements.
• Strong background in technology procurement (COTS software, SaaS, cloud, hardware).
• Knowledge of routes to market and IT contract models.
• Public sector procurement experience with PCR2015 is desirable.
• Proven stakeholder management and ability to push back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Draft procurement plans and select the route to market for procurements.
• Gather specifications with business areas and prepare tender documents.
• Define award criteria, commercial models and contract terms.
• Run clarifications, bidder briefings, and manage evaluation/moderation.
• Draft and finalise contracts and publish tender/award notices.
• Hand live contracts over to the contract owner and coordinate with Finance/Legal/Cyber/IT teams.
