Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Teams Telephony Engineer in a London-hybrid role within a highly secure defence setting. You will design, implement and support Microsoft Teams Telephony and Voice solutions while maintaining stability, security, and resilience of critical infrastructure.

You will lead infra workstreams across complex defence projects, troubleshoot advanced telephony issues, and ensure delivery against demanding SLAs.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, SIP and VoIP.
• Extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with virtualization, messaging platforms and Windows infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects/workstreams using PRINCE2 or PMI.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support Microsoft Teams Telephony and Voice solutions.
• Lead infrastructure and collaboration workstreams across defence projects.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for telephony and infrastructure services.
• Ensure service delivery meets strict SLAs and operational requirements.
• Work within governance, security and change management processes.
• Contribute to service improvements to increase supportability and reduce costs.
