Job summary

Consult is seeking a Solution Architect for a 6-month+ contract based in London or Glasgow, with hybrid working. The role requires SC security clearance and proven hands-on experience in solution architecture across large programmes and product environments.

You will drive technical strategy, define standards and reference architectures, and oversee cloud deployments with Azure/AWS/GCP or Oracle, including IaC and security governance.

Qualifications

• Proven stakeholder management across large, complex organisations.
• Excellent ability to translate technical concepts for broad audiences.
• Hands-on solution architecture across programmes, projects and products.
• Experience delivering using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft and Linux environments, including containers.
• Expertise in architecture strategy, standards, roadmaps and reference architectures.
• Strong cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP/Oracle) with security & IaC.
• Experience in enterprise collaboration solutions and real-time tech (WebRTC, SIP).
• Sound troubleshooting, networking, and monitoring across platforms.

Responsibilities
