Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in London seeks an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a portfolio of policing digital products and services. This hands-on role spans application architecture, integration, cloud infrastructure and engineering practices.

The position requires current SC clearance and NPPV3, with hybrid working 2–3 days onsite. You will develop artefacts, evaluate options and guide DevOps, CI/CD and IaC using Terraform on AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering architecture within national policing or public safety domains.
• Strong track record as a Solution Architect in complex digital delivery environments.
• Experience designing modern applications using APIs, microservices, and cloud-native patterns.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical architecture options.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain architectures across digital products and services for policing.
• Produce architecture artefacts covering application, integration, data and infrastructure views.
• Review and evaluate technical proposals and designs, identifying trade-offs and clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure architecture is implementable and aligns with DevOps practices.
• Provide architecture input throughout the product lifecycle from discovery to operation.
• Define non‑functional requirements including security, resilience and scalability.
• Support integration between products and external systems, considering APIs and data flows.
