Job Description:

Methods are currently seeking a Security Cleared, Senior Test Analyst for an initial 6 month contract. You must have Live Security Clearance that has been used and active on a Security Cleared site within the last 12 months. The role will require 3 days per week on-site in Milton Keynes.

Contract

3 Days per week in Milton Keynes office

• ISEB Foundation in Software Testing (mandatory)
• ISEB Practitioner Certificate in Software Testing (mandatory)
• ITIL Foundation in Service Management (mandatory)
• Good analytical skills allied to a challenging and inquiring mind

• A broad knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems and HP Compaq hardware

• Experience and knowledge of performance testing

• Management of OAT and liaison with Operational teams

• Experience and knowledge of Cloud platform
• Experience and knowledge of Overseas application platform infrastructure
• Experience of SQL 2012
• Experience of database interrogation via SQL queries including joining of tables during interrogation (mandatory)
• Experience of biometric XML messaging (mandatory)
• Experience of SOAP UI
• Experience of clustered UNIX environment (mandatory)
• Experience and knowledge of UNIX with ability to edit UNIX files (mandatory)
• Experience of products such as My webMethods, Terracotta and Universal Messaging
• Experience and understanding of Blaze Advisor and Blaze Rules (mandatory)
• Experience of MS Project 2007
• Experience of MS Visio 2007

The applicant will be required to provide Application and System Test services.

The applicant must have with the ability to work on their own and deliver specific agreed work packages on-time and to a very high standard. Attention to detail and project life cycle skills are mandatory with the following deliverables:

• Test Plan (for the Functional, Integration and OAT test phases)
• Data Migration Test Plan
• Test Traceability Matrix
• Test Schedule
• Test Cases
• Automated Test Scripts (when required)
• Performance Testing Profile (if required)
• Test Progress Reports
• Create and maintain Project Defect Log
• Create and maintain OAT Defect Log
• Final Test Report

This role will require you to have Security Clearance.
