Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience designing services and products in complex environments.
• Led service design workstreams across multiple projects or clients with minimal supervision.
• Strong expertise in Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and passing service assessments.
• Experience tailoring service design methods to client requirements and maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service design activities from ideation to solution development and testing.
• Define and tailor service design approaches to client needs and design maturity levels.
• Oversee high-quality service design artefacts ensuring consistency and impact.
• Apply GDS standards, accessibility and inclusive design in service assessments.
• Facilitate workshops, co-design sessions and stakeholder engagement.
• Communicate complex ideas through storytelling and visualisation techniques.
• Manage stakeholders, balancing perspectives and advocating user-centered design.
• Identify priorities, risks, dependencies and delivery requirements.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to capability growth.
• Contribute to service design tools, methods and industry-driven innovations.
