Job Description:

SC Cleared Security Assurance Coordinator - Permanent Position - Up to £85K

iO Associates is currently seeking an SC Cleared Security Assurance Coordinator (SAC) for a permanent role offering up to £85K, depending on experience, starting ASAP. This position offers hybrid working; the client requires onsite presence once a week.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the MOD, Central Governments, and/or Defence Consultancies, which is highly desirable. Active SC Clearance is essential, and DV Clearance would be a significant advantage.

Required Experience:
  • At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in a Security Assurance Coordinator role
  • Thorough knowledge of defence policies and standards, especially JSP 440, 453, and overarching HMG policies
  • Experience in producing RMADS, Security Instructions, and other security documentation to a high standard
  • Knowledge of Security Incident Management policies, processes, and procedures
  • Experience in delivering Risk Assessments, Risk Treatment plans, managing IT health checks, and remediation activities
