Job summary

Tank Recruitment is seeking a Security Architect to support defence customers in designing secure, resilient solutions. You will act as a technical adviser, shaping security architecture across complex environments and influencing how the consultancy expands its security offering.

Live SC clearance is required (DV welcome), CISSP certification preferred, and you will travel to customer sites in the South/South West of England or remote work where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security architectures across cyber, cloud and enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate risk into practical security recommendations.
• Excellent communication with technical and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and review security architectures across cyber, cloud and enterprise environments.
• Provide expert security advice to defence customers, translating technical risk into clear, practical recommendations.
• Develop secure cloud architectures in AWS or Azure.
• Work with customer and delivery teams to ensure security is built in from the start.
• Produce high-quality architecture documentation, designs and assurance artefacts.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to engage stakeholders and support delivery.
