Job summary

Assystem is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to identify, analyse and respond to risks across a client programme, ensuring objectives are met while engaging with stakeholders and risk leads. The role requires on-site presence at Helensburgh and regular client site workshops to support risk governance and mitigation across multiple projects.

The role involves leading the Tranche 4 NBCC Euston risk register, coordinating risk reviews, and delivering risk dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in Risk Management.
• Experience as Lead or Sole Risk Manager.
• Ability to work on-site 2–4 days per week.
• Strong knowledge of risk management processes, frameworks, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the Tranche 4 NBCC Euston risk register.
• Collaborate with Joint Programme Team risk leads to develop the wider programme risk profile.
• Chair monthly risk review meetings, facilitate risk workshops, produce minutes and dashboards.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation plan development and implementation.
• Conduct regular reviews of risks to eliminate duplication, ensure quality and maintain a manageable risk portfolio.
• Monitor and report on mitigation actions, tracking progress and ensuring risks are reducing over time.
• Support Quantitative Risk Analysis activities, including Schedule Risk Analysis and Cost Risk Analysis, and report modelling outputs.
• Lead assumptions management and maintain the Master Data and Assumptions List (MDAL).
• Provide strategic risk insights and risk profiling across programme activities and timelines.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and promote collaboration in risk management practices.
• Manage relationships with industry partners and suppliers, monitoring performance and addressing issues.
