Job summary

SoCode Recruitment is seeking a Python Engineer with active SC clearance for a 3-month contract in Cambridgeshire. The role is hybrid and focuses on software development and automated tooling inside a Defence cloud environment, spanning Data & AI, DevOps, Infrastructure and Automation.

The ideal candidate has strong Python skills, DevOps/automation background, and experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Tekton, ArgoCD or Kubernetes. Immediate start is required.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience.
• Background in DevOps, automation or infrastructure.
• Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• GitHub experience.
• Active SC clearance.
• Defence/cloud experience would be highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with D2S would be a bonus.
