Job summary

Tria in the United Kingdom is seeking a SC Penetration Tester to deliver high‑assurance security testing for a public sector client. The role is remote with occasional travel to Manchester and offers a day rate of £600–£700 outside IR35 for a six‑month engagement.

You will lead and deliver penetration testing engagements across cloud, containerised and enterprise environments, coach colleagues and provide technical leadership while applying strong IAM and cybersecurity practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud-based penetration testing, preferably AWS.
• Experience delivering penetration testing engagements for public sector clients.
• Active SC clearance is required or currently held.

We are looking for a security cleared penetration tester to support a public sector customer to deliver high-assurance security testing.

The role offers the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure, cloud, containerised, and enterprise environments, helping clients identify vulnerabilities and strengthen their security posture. You will be responsible for leading and delivering penetration testing engagements while providing expert guidance, coaching, and technical leadership to colleagues and clients.

Required experience:

• Strong Cloud Pen testing experience, ideally AWS
• Exposure to container tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Check Team Lead either active or recent
• Strong understanding of CyberSecurity Practices
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) security
• Experience delivering into the public sector
• Active SC clearance
