Job summary

TXP is seeking two OT Infrastructure Engineers with active SC clearance for a Newcastle-based 3-month contract. You will deploy, secure and enhance OT infrastructure in a critical environment, working with IT teams, cyber security specialists and programme governance.

The role includes Windows and Linux builds, Fortinet configurations, and multi-supplier coordination. The contract is outside IR35, paying 425/day, with hybrid onsite/remote work (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure engineering background across IT and OT environments.
• Experience working within secure or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working within complex governance and multi-supplier environments.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Fortinet product suite implementation experience.
• Windows build and deployment experience.
• Linux build and deployment experience.
• VMware ESXi and Dell VxRail experience.
• Security hardening and infrastructure security implementation.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support IT and OT infrastructure solutions.
• Implement and configure Fortinet technologies.
• Build and deploy Microsoft Windows environments across physical and virtual platforms.
• Build and administer Linux environments.
• Configure and support Dell VxRail, VMware ESXi and virtualisation technologies.
• Implement security hardening within OT environments.
• Deploy and integrate cyber security products and controls.
• Produce technical documentation and requirements packs.
• Work within complex multi-supplier delivery environments.
• Engage with engineering, cyber security and programme governance stakeholders.
• Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift activities.
