Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking an NEC4 Supervisor (Build) for a 12-month contract at BAE Christchurch, Dorset. The role is on-site, 5 days per week, 08:00–17:00, with a daily rate of £450–£600.

You will administer NEC4 contract duties, oversee inspections, QA, safety, and defects management, and support the Project Manager with contract administration on major capital works.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline.
• NEC4 ECC Supervisor Accreditation or demonstrable NEC4 Supervisor experience.
• Relevant construction industry certification (CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS).
• Full driving licence.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
• Experience administering NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Supervisor under the NEC4 contract.
• Administer contractual processes relating to inspections, tests, defects, and quality compliance via CEMAR.
• Maintain records required under the NEC4 contract.
• Provide notifications and responses within contractual timescales.
• Support the Project Manager in contract administration and project delivery.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with scope, specs and standards.
• Review and witness inspections, testing, commissioning, and QA activities.
• Verify materials and workmanship meet contract requirements and manage defects.
• Maintain the defects register and oversee remedial work completion.
• Provide recommendations regarding defect correction and acceptance.
